Know generally how much a procedure costs and if I am paying less than that IT IS FOR A REASON. Research, research, research! I should have done more homework about the procedure as well as the esthetician who is doing it so I know I am using the most educated person I can. It is one of those things in life that taught me a few huge lessons: Until I make a decision that I am 100% on I would rather just leave it be. I ended up just holding off on doing anything and still to this day have not done anything. I left that appointment with a lot to think about, I was super frustrated that this happened and honestly was kind of pissed off. My options were to just leave it, do tattoo removal on the spots to get rid of the pigment or get the microblading treatment done again to cover up the issue spots. I was shocked and upset by this information because I put trust in someone who clearly was not fully trained in this procedure or if she was she messed up and knew it. I went to a consultation with someone else who is very educated and professional (the person I should have gone to in the first place) and she told me that the strokes are at tattoo level which is way too deep. The strokes faded everywhere except one concentrated area on each eyebrow so it is like two little islands living underneath my actual brow, they are a different color as well so it is very noticeable. (You are supposed to get the procedure done once a year because the strokes are not supposed to go very deep into the skin and fade over time.) I know it seems like them not fading would be a good thing but if you look at my eyebrow with nothing on them it is clear where the strokes are and where my actual eyebrows are. The issues started to present themselves over time – the color of them changed and was not the same color as my brows, there were a few strokes out of place and then months down the line I was noticing they were not fading on the inside of my brow like they were supposed to. Once they were healed I was happy with what I was seeing, I didn’t have to fill them in daily and they were full and natural like I wanted. I waited the 6 weeks and went in for the touch-ups, that procedure went fine from what I could tell and I went through the same post-procedure steps. Because they can’t get wet the dye stays on for a while so my brows were darker than normal and the shape was looking good. It seemed like it went well and I followed the steps needed post-procedure which is keeping them dry and putting a cream on them a few times a day to let them heal. We went through the process just like you are supposed to from what I have seen from other peoples experiences – I went in for the first appointment and she did the measurements and the initial microblading. I brought the procedure up to a friend and she recommended an esthetician which was great because I did not know who to go to, her price was also reasonable and I trusted my friend’s opinion. Over time I kept getting them waxed and they never fully grew back in, it is so sad! My sister and her friends got a hold of them when I was too young to know any better and I am kicking myself for letting them pluck them to death. The thought of getting fuller brows quickly with a supernatural look was so appealing to me. Petersburg/Tampa Travel GuideĪbout a year and a half ago I decided to get my eyebrows microbladed, I was unhappy with the shape of them and was so excited to hear about this new beauty procedure! I sat on it for a little while and as time went on I decided it was something I wanted to try.
